Country Music and That girl called Taylor Swift!
The very first time I heard the song”Teardrops on my guitar”,I felt two things:Firstly, I felt sad because I think I know what it feels like to love and not be loved back.Secondly,I felt happy because Taylor’s voice is simply great!
Most of my friends would be wondering how on earth I even got to know about Taylor Swift,but the answer to that is this.I made a resolution to change as many of the things about me as possible, and that includes the music I listen to.See, am tired of listening to music that hasn’t an ounce of sense in it!So I started listening to BOB FM which plays country music 24-7.I immediately fell in love with country music.The songs I heard made me reflect a lot on my life and life as a whole.Songs like am already there,whiskey lullaby,before he cheats,stupid boy,living on love,cowboy in me,dancing cowboys,austin….I could go on forever!
Clearly, my new country music artistes are Tim McGraw,Taylor Swift,Carrie Underwood,Brad Paisley(still love his song alcohol) and Rascal Flatts!
I drifted off….I was talking about Taylor Swift!Now tell me,does that girl have a beautiful voice or what?And she isn’t bad in the looks department either.I mean blue eyes and all.My favourite colour is incidentally blue….I know what you’re thinking….but that’s not it.Besides she’s still a kid!

Today,Friday 22nd
So far my resolution to keep an active blog hasn’t yet gone down the drain….BUT what’s on my mind now is:
UB40 Live Concert:One of the very first songs listened to right after crawling out of my mum’s womb must have been a UB40 song!”Sweet Cherry” will always be my favourite.Well, the guys are already in Kampala for the last show together as a band anywhere in the world.Sad thing though that I won’t be going for it.120,000 Uganda Shillings isn’t exactly my idea of affordable!
Jenifer Lopez and her Twins:I know that being a “celeb”(that is,”celebrity” for those you cherish formality) is demanding and that one must do whatever it takes,however insane that is(like Britney does) to be in the spotlight;but having a baby at 39 is a little bit extreme.Let alone twins!Marc Antony must be over the moon and I’d be up there with him because he’s the one that finally got the her to settle.I wonder how her ex-husbands,P Diddy and the likes,feel about it…

There’s always that crazy notion that one must make a resolution for the new year.So i did that this year and i decided to jump onto the bandwagon with the name”Blog Mania” inscribed right across its face.Well, i know that i have struggled to maintain an active blog for the last 2 or 3 years as they say,that is history.
You know, life perhaps, is the best lesson one can possibly learn.
